The perfect Mother's Day Gift for you or a loved one!

Around Mother's Day, every year, is when the wild and heirloom roses that surround our Studio erupt into a fragrant and stunning cascade of color! These gorgeous roses are not hybrid teas so they put all their effort into one short blooming season not to be missed. :-) And you won't miss them because you will be painting them "plein air" which means "from life" and in OILS outside.

All we have to do is step out of our studio so you will still be near the comforts of home! The afternoon session will basically be a continuation of the morning session but if you can only make the afternoon, no problem! If you have an easel, it will be helpful to bring it, especially if you need help setting up for the first time.

Although we will supply the oil paints (which will not dry as quickly as the acrylics), if you have a set, feel free to bring them and learn to use them! We will be using a limited palette.

Bring your lunch (or there are places nearby to get lunch as well), picnic and stay for both. Watch Steve demonstrate a complete painting between 12:00 and 1:00 (if we feed him first)
